Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines

Journal of Educational Innovation and Language Teaching (JEILT) aims to meet the maximum standards required.

  • The manuscript must be written in English with no plagiarism. It has never been published before or is currently being submitted for publication elsewhere.
  • The manuscripts require a minimum of at least 3000 words for book reviews, 4000 – 5000 words for literature/article reviews, 3000–4000 words for short articles, and 5000–6000 words for full-length articles including everything.
  • Manuscripts, except for article/book reviews, must include an English abstract of no more than 300 words, followed by five keywords.
  • Use a reference management and formatting program like MendeleyEndNote, or Zotero. The authors can also do citations and references manually, but they must ensure the consistency between in-text-citations and references. The reference list needs to follow APA style (7th Edition), and the citation needs to follow principles of in-text-citations.
  • Authors who are not native English speakers are recommended to have their manuscripts proofread and edited before submission since we do not accept manuscripts with an English language below the JEILT journal standard. We recommend English language proofreading and editing services such as Enagoor similar ones.
  • Make sure to prepare your manuscript using the paper template and format provided by JEILT.
